Main Gallery: Main Gallery: Gunnison High School Senior Excellence Exhibit
Every April, the GAC fills its Main Gallery with the young creative minds of artists within the third- and fourth-year art program at Gunnison High School. This exhibit is a creative “capstone” experience in which to display their work.

Paint Your Own Pottery
Saturday, 10:00 – 2:00 pm. April 2. Enter Through the Courtyard!
Join us Saturday to pick out your favorite bisque ware pieces and bring them to life during our PYOP open studio. Spend time with us decorating unglazed ceramics ranging from mugs and decorative plates to cookie jars and collectible figurines. Prices include your favorite piece, glazes and kiln firings. Please allow up to 3 weeks for the completion of your work. Shipping options are available.
Functional Pottery
Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:30 pm April 5 & 12: Garden Art
In this class, students will work on creating functional ceramics by using hand-building techniques. The first session will focus on building and the second session will allow students to polish their pieces and finish off with glazing. All supplies will be provided and prepared by your instructor.
$80/student, $68/members.
Barre Sculpt Lunch Sessions
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:00 – 12:30 pm. March 31 – May 26. Drop-in Punch Cards Available!
Lift your seat, tone your muscles, and feel the burn in this barre workout class. We’ll use the fundamentals of Ballet, Yoga, and Pilates to sculpt long lean dancer bodies.
