I like to walk

in the frigid air.

I don’t like to linger

in the frigid air.

The best part

of any adventure

is returning home

to utter security.

I like to hang

upside down.

I don’t like to stay

hanging upside down.

If one never ventures

outside their comfort zone,

then they will never

know their abilities.

If one never ventures

inside their comfort zone,

then they will never

feel truly safe.

I like to sit

on pointed rocks.

I don’t like to stay

on pointed rocks.

Oh, to go on a journey

and find myself

along the way,

then get to bring myself

home.

I like to stand

on a cliff’s edge.

I don’t like to remain

on a cliff’s edge.
